We are a welcoming and caring community. We expect that anyone and everyone who walks through our doors will be treated with respect and grace, irrespective of their race, gender, politics and financial standing. We are a multicultural church. While the bulk of our congregation is composed of people with strong Canadian roots, we have in our church people from many parts of the world whose mother tongue is not English. Among our visible minorities, the largest groups are from Burma (Karen speaking), Liberia and Sudan. We believe our diversity is an expression of God’s kind of family. We are inter-generational. We have in our church people from the youngest to the frail elderly who are visited in their homes. We believe that every person of every age has value.
